EDISON GREEN AWARD
While the other Edison Awards™ categories were established to recognize and honor innovative new products and services, the Edison Green Award™ is designed to recognize efforts by an organization to reduce a participating community's carbon footprint, create Green Collar jobs through new innovation methods, and improve community health and self-sufficiency.
Nominees in the Edison Green Award category are asked to respond to a variety of point-based questions relating to their specific initiatives, which then help to determine the extent to which they meet the primary criteria.
The primary categories of Edison Green Award criteria include:Organizational Innovation
