JUDGING
Throughout 2008 and 2009, the Edison Best New Product Award Steering Committee monitors the development and launch of innovative products and services. We promote the open call for nominations online and through trade and partner publications.
The Edison Best New Product Award Steering Committee will review the nomination forms and look for products and services that excel in the following areas:
- Marketplace Innovation
- Marketplace Success
- Technological Innovation
- Market Structure Innovation
- Societal Impact
Collectively, a comprehensive ballot is compiled and emailed to more than 2000 senior marketing, advertising and business executives from the Marketing Executive Networking Group, (MENG). The ballots are tabulated at the International Headquarters of the Marketing Executives Networking Group and the finalists will be notified via email the week of February 11, 2010.
Finalists are encouraged to display their products and services in the New Product Showcase Reception and attend the Edison Best New Product Awards. Gold, Silver and Bronze winners will be announced at the Edison Awards Ceremony on April 29, 2010 in NYC. Winning teams will have the opportunity to talk with the press, have a team picture taken and license the Edison Best New Product Award Seal.
