THE PROCESS

To nominate a product or service for an Edison Best New Product Award or Edison Green Award, complete the appropriate 2012 Nomination Form. Follow the instructions on the form, and submit your nomination, along with the entry fee, as directed. The deadline for nominations for the 2012 Awards is December 16, 2011.

Your nomination will be reviewed by the members of the Edison Awards Steering Committee, who develop a list of finalists in each of the Best New Product and Green Award categories.

The comprehensive ballot of finalists is sent to more than 3,000 senior business executives from the Marketing Executive Networking Group, (MENG), past Edison Award winning teams and various faculty members at universities across the nation for vote. The ballot votes are tabulated and the finalists will be notified via email the week of February 13, 2012.

The beautiful and historic ballroom at the Capitale in New York, site of the 2011 Edison Awards Gala.

The Gold, Silver and Bronze winners will be unveiled at the Edison Awards Gala on April 26, 2012. Finalists are invited to attend the day-long event which includes the Meet the Innovators Forum, product presentations by participating finalists, New Product Showcase Reception, and the Edison Awards ceremony. Winning companies and their teams will have the opportunity to talk with the press, have a team picture taken and celebrate their accomplishments. After the event, the opportunity to license the Edison Award Seal for use in future marketing, promotion, and packaging, etc. is made available.
