Magnetically Levitating Semiconductor Wafer

When a large global semiconductor corporation was looking for a unique item for a special purpose, they never expected to see what we created. We started with the smallest thing in the world that was also at core of their business - the electron. The silicone wafer that you see is here (used in the production of all integrated circuits) is actually floating and rotating in mid-air on trillions of electrons in an electromagnetic field. The wafer is imprinted with the patent information, drawing and logo, and slowly rotates at 4 rpm. Our client's response - "That's the coolest thing in the world!"

The World's Only Microprocessor Controlled Patent Wall Plaque

Pixar Studios didn't want the run of the mill patent plaque. They wanted something as unique as the company itself. What see here is only Atmel microprocessor controlled, hand gesture recognition, Doppler radar sensing, LED illuminated, programmable patent wall plaque. This plaque features a perfectly color matched print featuring a scene from an actually movie and the patent that enabled it, alongside an embedded film strip of the print scene. This is sandwiched between an optically pure, Demetri glass board etched with the Pixar logo and the inventor name and a precisely machined, PVC electronics hosing with circuit board and batteries. Using just hand gestures in front of the plaque, the inventor can turn the film strip LED's (2400 degrees Kelvin) on and off, change brightness and adjust duration.
