2017 Edison Awards nominee, Benjilock, founder Robbie Cabral, is looking to make storing your personal belongings easier and safe with the help of some unlikely but largely successful friends.

Cabral and BenjiLock (the World’s First Traditional Rechargeable Padlock with Fingerprint Technology)  appeared on ABC’s Shark Tank to see if he could get an investment from the sharks.

Cabral went into the tank seeking $200,000 for 10 percent equity. After making his pitch only one shark, Mark Cuban was out. The remaining sharks presented their counteroffers, and when the dust settled Cabral accepted an offer from Kevin O’Leary, surprising all the other sharks on the panel.
